if you’re one of the lucky ones to live within driving distance of a paper source, i highly recommend you check this workshop out. i haven’t been to one but from what i read on weddingbee, they’re pretty good. i wish i could go this year but unfortunately i don’t think my econ professor would accept this as a viable excuse for missing class.
boo.
check out all the information on paper source!
and if you go, can you let me know how it went?
when it’s in a box!
of course.
pictures compliments of something old, something new. but i am really liking this idea for a guestbook alternative and i wish i had came across it to share with alisha was combing through alternatives. while these are available from cut the cake designs on etsy [there are also some really cute invitation designs available, definitely check it out! i do spy an opportunity to have a cohesive look with the paper design throughout the wedding] these boxes can be replicated at home, for the diy-inclined.
plus, after the wedding, instead of having some book you might never look through again, you can just switch out the cards and use the box for recipes! or notes! or bills! or…let’s just say it’s easily reusable.
this weekend i was flipping through wedding magazines at a friend’s house who is planning her hawaiian nuptials [at least, at the moment they'll be in hawaii...on one of those islands. she changes her mind every other day it seems] and came across an ad for mikaella bridal.
it was the first time i saw the name and the dress caught my attention. so when i got home, i was quick to check out the website. and oh my goodness. i found several dresses that i think might work with the laid back, casual romance feeling i’m hoping to achieve for our wedding. in fact, i was excited to see that there were three authorized retailers within driving distance to me. three!
anywho, i’m content with looking at these pretty pictures until i’m finally able to shop for real. so come, look at pretty pictures of dresses with me?

this one might be my favorite!^^

which one is your favorite?
okay, maybe not magically, but still very delicious to the eye:
tell me this isn’t cute. apparently the story behind these cuties are the designer, marilyn, and her fiance are both foodies, she loves baking cupcakes and he is a pastry chef at nobu. put two and two together and you have awesomeness. i’d steal this idea if i could.
check out style me pretty for more info!
